The Pinehurst Sanger Foundation was (and still is) inspired by John Sanger, a Pinehurst employee who encountered life altering medical and physical needs that surpassed his ability to cover what insurance would not. In response, the founders of this organization created a platform where others could help their friend, colleague, coach, and respected golfer. We can continue our mission through your generosity; especially encouraged are monthly donations added to your bill. 
 

The Foundation, as it is known, has grown beyond anything the Founders could imagine. What our Founders ignited with a spark of giving has become a legacy fueled by Pinehurst members.
 
 We support our employees and members by addressing unmanageable medical expenses.
 In 2020, we launched the Young Cho Scholarship. Through Mr. Cho’s generosity, the Foundation now awards several scholarships each year to help offset the cost of higher education for Pinehurst Employees and their families. 
Continuing and growing the mission envisaged by our Founders would not have been possible without the forethought, insight, collaboration, history, and dedication of the Pinehurst Family.
